Quiggin's Almond Marzipan

 Lucky number 6! Since this is a (not) special ocasion, I decided to bring you something fancy: straight from the UK, Quiggin's Finest Almond Marzipan Chocolate Bar! A bar of their top quality marzipan (for those who don't know, marzipan is a paste made of almond and sugar) coated in rich dark chocolate.

The Packaging: this bar comes in a fancy looking brown plastic package with the Quiggin's logo (the Q looks like a bow, how cute is that?) It states the flavour and that Quiggin's has been making "quality confectionary sinse 1880"

The bar: The marzipan is thick and crumbly and the layer of dark chocolate is thin and crispy. The outside is plain, with no type of pattern, not very attractive.

The taste: If you're an almond lover you'll be thrilled. The marzipan has a strong almond flavour that is sweet but a little tart. The chocolate does not take away from the marzipan flavour at all, just adds another layer of yumminess to this bar. Really good, although I could not eat the entire bar in one go.
